SunSouth of Donalsonville

opens new state-of-the-art

John Deere dealership facility

at 903 North Tennille Avenue

This new facility, under construction since the Fall of 2107, is now open to the public and provides a great and wide-open work environment for the company’s 25+ employees. To better serve its customers in Donalsonville and the surrounding area, the new location has over 30,000 square feet of space in the main building and over 49,000 square feet total space in all the buildings. SunSouth is a John Deere dealer, servicing portions of Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Mississippi, with 21 locations, including the one in Donalsonville.

Store manager Doug Cunningham commented, “We are excited to be in our new location. The support and enthusiasm from our customers and the community has been amazing. Our staff looks forward to serving the farmers, ranchers, landscapers, and  home owners in the area by being able to provide great products, parts and service.”

SunSouth Donalsonville, formerly Early Tractor, has been providing service to the tri-state area since 1987 from its former located at 5211 Hwy. 39 North.

“We have made an investment in the bright future of agriculture here in Donalsonville and Seminole County. This new facility and its increased capacity will allow SunSouth to serve Seminole County and the surrounding areas by giving additional service capacity, larger parts area and a larger retail showroom. We service all market segments including the home owner, property owner, governments and ag producer,” commented David Vines.

The new facility has the best technology, the latest equipment for handling machinery and additional space to work on the equipment, which keeps getting larger.

Vines added, “The new location gives the service department the space and capacity to service this larger equipment, and provides a better space in which to strive to our mission, Providing the Best Service under the Sun!!”

Cunningham commented, “We are very excited to get into a brand new state-of-the-art facility. Our business had long out grown our former building and the new location now provides us the opportunity to continue to grow. With the new and much larger shop we are able to provide better and more efficient service to all of our customers; from lawnmowers to cotton pickers we now have the ability to service the simple problem to the most technical and complex. The new and  larger showroom, parts room and additional warehouse space now allows us to carry even more parts and handheld equipment, again benefitting our customers with more parts on hand to minimize their downtime due to machine failure. We thank the community and our customers for their support and appreciate everyone who has been involved in this project.”

A grand opening event for the facility will be announced in the near future.
